CIM UPC

El CIM de la UPC es una entidad adscrita a la UPC que tiene como misión institucional transferir conocimientos de ingeniería y gestión de la tecnología y facilitar herramientas a las empresas y a los profesionales para que puedan crear y mejorar sus productos y procesos de fabricación, acercando la realidad empresarial a la universidad, para facilitar que el tejido industrial de su entorno pueda lograr la máxima competitividad tecnológica. El CIM UPC consigue esto generando tecnología de producto y proceso mediante la realización de proyectos de I+D+i, utilizando medios materiales de prototipage y fabricación de última generación. También colaboramos con otros centros universitarios de investigación, a través de la XaRTAP, y con empresas de sectores varios, desarrollando propuestas tecnológicas innovadoras y potenciando infraestructuras de investigación para realizar proyectos en varios ámbitos tecnológicos.

CiTIUS (Centro Singular de Investigación en Tecnoloxías da Información)

The Centro de Investigación en Tecnoloxías da Información da Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (CiTIUS) was founded in 2010 as a Singular Research Center of Campus Vida, focusing on IT area (Information Technology). A 33 member team with a broad research experience in R&D consortial projects coordinates the work of 100 people with a shared commitment: scientific excellence for the betterment of society.

CREB UPC - Research Centre for Biomedical Engineering

Since 1983, The Research Centre for Biomedical Engineering (CREB) of Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) has been serving the needs of research, technological development, innovation and knowledge transfer of companies, hospitals and institutions related to the field of Health technologies. The CREB’s multidisciplinary staff includes more than 80 researchers, doctors (50%) and graduates in engineering and other disciplines. Our research teams and facilities are in the heart of UPC’s Pedralbes campus, giving solution to any need or demand from the biomedical field. Our applied research is organized in seven research areas: Biomaterials; Biomedical signals and systems; Dosimetry and medical radiation; Graphics computing (serious games); Biomechanics; Robotics and vision; and Instrumentation and eHealth. From these areas we support and promote innovation and collaboration, as well as excellence in research, scholarship, and training.
